Natalie is the Founder and the creative soul behind Déjà vu Sweets. A former educator with a master’s degree under her belt, Natalie began her business after a break from her career and uncovered a love affair with baking and cake artistry. A wife and mother of three, you’ll find Natalie cracking jokes, dancing the night away, and embracing everything that life has to offer.
Offering a friendly, fun, and utterly passionate approach to each and every edible project, Natalie is hugely professional and prides herself on the exceptional reputation that Déjà vu Sweets has carved within the industry. She has been awarded ‘Best Desserts of the Year and has graced the pages of numerous magazines and publications, not to mention being a part of the Wedding International Professionals Association & The National Society of Black Wedding & Event Professionals.
Natalie Thames, the Founder of Déjà vu Sweets, is a self-taught baker and a creative confectionery artist. With several degrees and certifications from Cornell University behind her, she finds happiness in creating edible artistry with food and loves to push the boundaries when it comes to dreaming up new designs and ideas for the brand. She’s always on the go, holds an energy that is quite simply contagious, and will always encourage you to put your trust in her team.
