Her ‘first look” was a custom Christian Siriano design which she unveiled to Gelin before the ceremony. The "Orange Is the New Black" actress first gown had a sheer, long-sleeved top made from nude mesh and embroidered white flowers. Its skirt, on the other hand, was full, white, and covered with the same design. It was custom-made for her by London-based fashion house Alonuko, and Reem Photography captured her wearing the dress and wedding. Wedding planner Darryl Moore of D’Concierge Wedding worked to make the space feel like guests were dining in shades of Godiva chocolates with the decor in a palette of jewel tones and gold. The atmosphere was stunning in person. After the service, guests mingled and found their names and table numbers chocolate truffles wrapped in gold for the cocktail hour, that we created for the section. They were adorned with a floral masterpiece created by Birch Event Design.
Our seven-level vanilla and red velvet cake were created to create the cascading drapery with tones of chocolate flowers and a jewel tone topper, designed for the beautiful bride and groom during our consultation.
